New York Nut Growers Association and the Pennsylvania Nut Growers Association at Delaware Valley University will meet jointly in Doylestown, Pennsylvania on Saturday, April 21. The meeting is open to the public, and a local hotel will offer the university discount rate for Friday, April 20.

The meeting would benefit anyone considering planting nut trees on their farm or in their backyard. Topics include hazelnuts; historic orchards; nut trees as part of a permaculture design; making use of nuts, fruits, and other agricultural products by gleaning; grafting skills; and getting help with financial advice for farmers. We will be giving out red oak seedlings, black walnut seed nuts, and informational literature on nut tree culture. There will be several exhibitors at the meeting.
